New York High School Basketball - Albany Academy for Girls knocked off by Catholic Central

The Catholic Central Crusaders basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Albany Academy for Girls Bears to 49 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy of the Holy Names for a Section 2 Colonial contest on Friday, February 2. Catholic Central will battle a team coming off a 64-59 league win over Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The record now stands at 11-5.
The Bears (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Schalmont (Schenectady, NY). The Sabres enter the Section 2 Colonial contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Schalmont ran past Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY), 69-34, in a league contest.
