Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX), 55-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Alice upgrades its record to 22-11 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Bishop (Bishop, TX) to play the Badgers in a 4A Region IV District 31 bout on Friday, February 2. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 25-8. Bishop won 81-16 in their recent league bout against Harmony School of Excellence (Laredo, TX)

Next up, the Brahmas play the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. King will attempt to upgrade on its 11-18 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 22-9 record after their 32-24 league loss to Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).
