The Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) basketball crushed the host Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX), 60-23 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trail Blazers (25-6) will now prepare for their test against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region I District 1 test with a 6-23 record.

The Thunderbirds now own a 7-20 record. They play next when they travel to Socorro for a 6A Region I District 1 test on Friday, February 2. Coronado will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 40-32 league loss to El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-23.
