The Jefferson Silver Foxes basketball team (El Paso, TX), was overwhelmed 48-6 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 14-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burges for a 5A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, February 2. Andress will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 47-36 league win over El Paso (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 24-6.
The Silver Foxes (3-22) will now prepare for their battle against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region I District 1 battle with a 17-10 record. In their last battle, Canutillo was overwhelmed by Chapin (El Paso, TX), 31-30, in a league battle.
