The Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) basketball crushed the host Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX), 51-24 in Tuesday's league test.

The Volunteers (16-14) will now prepare for their test against Haltom (Haltom City, TX). The Buffalos go into the 6A Region I District 8 test with a 9-21 record. In their last test, Haltom was trounced by Martin (Arlington, TX), 57-31, in a league test.

The Colts now own a 6-21 record. They play next when they travel to South Grand Prairie for a 6A Region I District 8 test on Friday, February 2. Arlington will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 71-29 league win over Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 24-3.
