The Toms River East Raiders (Toms River, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ), 68-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Raiders (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Central Regional walloped Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ), 50-29, in a league test.
The Bengals now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Brick Township for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Barnegat will encounter a Green Dragons squad coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Green Dragons record now stands at 4-11.
