The Bellevue Comets basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Beckman Trailblazers to 45 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cascade for a Freelance contest on Friday, February 2. Bellevue will meet a Cougars team coming off a 62-37 non-league win over Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-4.

The Trailblazers (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Raiders enter the WAMAC - East contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Anamosa was nudged by Tipton (Tipton, IA), 53-31, in a non-league contest.
