Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK), 56-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Duncan upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Demons host Woodward (Woodward, OK) to play the Boomers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Boomers go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Woodward lost 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Liberal (Liberal, KS)

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK).
