In Tuesday's league outing, the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), by a count of 45-38.
The Knights (5-14) will now prepare for their outing against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Northside was tipped by Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 49-41, in a league outing.
The Bruins now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Patrick Henry for a River Ridge outing on Wednesday, January 31. Blacksburg will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 59-13 league win over Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 15-4.
