Kentucky High School Basketball - Sayre trounced by Bluegrass United

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Bluegrass United Bluehawks basketball team scored a decisive 59-21 triumph over the Sayre Spartans.

In their next game, the Bluehawks meet the Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Trailblazers (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 3. Bluegrass United will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record. The Trailblazers enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 60-35 non-league loss to St. Ursula Academy (Cincinnati, OH).

With the defeat, Sayre moves to 4-18 on the year. The Spartans host Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY) to meet the Generals in a non-league match on Friday, February 2. The Generals enter the match with a record of 10-9. Thomas Nelson won 61-35 in their recent league match against Washington County (Springfield, KY)
