In Tuesday's league outing, the Booker T. Washington Hornets (Tulsa, OK) basketball squad beat the visiting Grove Ridgerunners (Grove, OK), by a count of 52-36.
The Hornets (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK). The Tigers go into the 5A District 3 outing with a 17-2 record. In their last outing, Tahlequah defeated Pryor (Pryor, OK), 84-35, in a league outing.
The Ridgerunners now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Jay for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Grove will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 39-24 league loss to Vinita (Vinita, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.
