Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), 57-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Carlisle upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to A-D-M (Adel, IA) to play the Tigers in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, February 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-11. A-D-M lost 65-43 in their recent league bout against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA)

Next up, the Toreadors play the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, February 2. Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 35-24 league win over Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA).
