The Brawley Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Calipatria Hornets to 27 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vincent Memorial for a Imperial Valley contest on Thursday, February 1. Brawley will battle a Scots team coming off a 80-39 league win over Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Scots record now stands at 10-5.
The Hornets (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Eagles enter the Imperial Valley contest with a 5-18 record. In their last contest, Southwest EC was defeated by Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA), 80-39, in a league contest.
