With the victory, Newton improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Archer (Lawrenceville, GA) to confront the Tigers in a AAAAAAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Archer lost 82-44 in their recent league challenge against Grayson (Loganville, GA)

Next up, the Broncos confront the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Brookwood will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 45-40 league win over Parkview (Lilburn, GA).
