Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Manor New Tech (Manor, TX), 49-11 in a league bout.

With the win, Caldwell upgrades its record to 9-18 on the season. The Hornets travel to Taylor (Taylor, TX) to play the Ducks in a 4A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, February 2. The Ducks go into the bout with a record of 18-7. Taylor won 75-33 in their recent league bout against Giddings (Giddings, TX)

Next up, the play the Valor South Austin Falcons (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Manor New Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 17-8 record after their 52-8 league win over IDEA Montopolis (Austin, TX).
