With the victory, Oxford improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West Elk (Howard, KS) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. West Elk won 59-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Sedan (Sedan, KS)

Next up, the Bluejays play the Flinthills Mustangs (Rosalia, KS) in a South Central Border challenge, on Friday, February 2. Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 35-23 league win over Cedar Vale/Dexter (Cedar Vale, KS).
