Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), 46-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, Cardinal Gibbons upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Enloe (Raleigh, NC) to play the Eagles in a 4A CAP 6 bout on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-16. Enloe lost 57-13 in their recent league bout against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC)
Next up, the Spartans play the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a 4A CAP 6 bout, on Friday, February 2. Sanderson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 49-47 league loss to Broughton (Raleigh, NC).
