The Elgin Owls basketball team (Elgin, OK), was nudged 66-60 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Carl Albert Titans (Midwest City, OK)
The Titans now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guthrie for a 5A District 1 battle on Friday, February 2. Carl Albert will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 46-44 league loss to Altus (Altus, OK). The Bluejays record now stands at 6-13.
The Owls (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Indians come into the 5A District 1 battle with a 19-0 record. In their last battle, El Reno edged Crossings Christian (Oklahoma City, OK), 67-36, in a league battle.
