The Central Valley Bears basketball team (Spokane Valley, WA), was toppled 68-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA)
The Panthers now possess a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gonzaga Prep for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle on Friday, February 2. Mead will confront a Bullpups team coming off a 65-53 non-league win over Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA). The Bullpups record now stands at 15-3.
The Bears (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA). The Tigers come into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Lewis & Clark was toppled by Ferris (Spokane, WA), 49-47, in a league battle.
