Tecumseh Indians (Tecumseh, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI), 60-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tecumseh upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Adrian (Adrian, MI) to play the Maples in a Southeastern - White bout on Friday, February 2. The Maples come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Adrian won 48-34 in their recent league bout against Jackson (Jackson, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI) in a Southeastern - White bout, on Friday, February 2. Chelsea will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 37-35 league win over Ypsilanti (Ypsilanti, MI).
