The Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) basketball crushed the host Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA), 54-19 in Tuesday's league test.

The Indians (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Rebels go into the Hogoheegee test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Patrick Henry was trounced by Honaker (Honaker, VA), 70-13, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Council for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Chilhowie will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 44-31 league loss to Grundy (Grundy, VA). The Cobras record now stands at 8-8.
