The Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN), 61-21 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Magic (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bluejackets go into the AAAA Section 7 test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Cambridge-Isanti walloped Princeton (Princeton, MN), 71-63, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they host Hermantown for a AAA Section 7 test on Friday, February 2. Chisago Lakes Area will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 50-39 non-league loss to Superior (Superior, WI). The Hawks record now stands at 6-15.
