The Pleasant Spartans basketball team (Marion, OH), was nudged 36-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Clear Fork Colts (Bellville, OH)

The Colts now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a Mid-Ohio battle on Friday, February 2. Clear Fork will confront a Fighting Scots team coming off a 52-14 league loss to Shelby (Shelby, OH). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 6-11.

The Spartans (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Marion Harding (Marion, OH). The Presidents come into the Mid-Ohio battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Marion Harding edged Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH), 39-36, in a non-league battle.
