The Tularosa Wildcats (Tularosa, NM) basketball crushed the host Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM), 56-14 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Hot Springs walloped Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM), 42-40, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Lordsburg for a 2A District 3 test on Thursday, February 1. Cloudcroft will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 52-28 league win over Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-9.
