Virginia High School Basketball - Colonial Forge beaten by Riverbend

January 30, 2024: Fredericksburg, VA 22407

The Riverbend Bears ran past the visiting Colonial Forge Eagles basketball team by a final score of 59-42 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Stafford Indians (Falmouth, VA) in a Commonwealth game, on Friday, February 2. Riverbend will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 2-13 record after their 61-14 league loss to North Stafford (Stafford, VA).

With the defeat, Colonial Forge moves to 6-14 on the year. The Eagles travel to Brooke Point (Stafford, VA) to face the Black Hawks in a Commonwealth game on Friday, February 2. The Black Hawks enter the game with a record of 3-12. Brooke Point lost 39-36 in their recent league game against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
