Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Columbia Capitals (Columbia, SC), 1-0 in a league bout.

With the win, Gray Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The War Eagles travel to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC) to play the Blues in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Blues go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Asheville School (Independent) won 75-42 in their recent non-league bout against Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC)

Next up, the Capitals play the Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) in a AA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record.
