Georgia High School Basketball - Coosa trounces Dalton Academy

The Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), 50-16 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons go into the A D1 Region 7 test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Pepperell was trounced by Darlington (Rome, GA), 49-24, in a league test.
The Pumas now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Berean Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Dalton Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 49-33 league loss to Mount Pisgah Christian Academy (Oliver Springs, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
