Georgia High School Basketball - Crisp County overwhelmed by Monroe

The Crisp County Cougars basketball team (Cordele, GA), was overwhelmed 71-22 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA)

The Golden Tornadoes now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dougherty for a AAA Region 1 battle on Friday, February 2. Monroe will confront a Trojans team coming off a 62-42 league win over Columbus (Columbus, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-9.

The Cougars (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Carver (Columbus, GA). The Tigers come into the AAA Region 1 battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Carver trounced Columbus (Columbus, GA), 65-25, in a league battle.
