Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons (Paragould, AR), 59-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Marked Tree upgrades its record to 21-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Maynard (Maynard, AR) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 3 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-7.

Next up, the Falcons play the Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Crowley's Ridge Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 60-48 non-league loss to Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR).
