Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA), 44-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Mill Creek upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Hawks travel to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA) to play the Bears in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-19. Mountain View lost 46-28 in their recent league bout against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 2. Dacula will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Black Knights go into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 73-46 league loss to Buford (Buford, GA).
