California High School Basketball - Foothills Christian knocked off by Del Lago Academy

The Del Lago Academy Firebirds basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Foothills Christian Knights to 20 in the Firebirds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Firebirds now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Castle Park for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Del Lago Academy will meet a Trojans team coming off a 33-32 league loss to Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-17.
The Knights (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA). The Stingrays enter the Ocean contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Coastal Academy ran past San Pasqual Academy (Escondido, CA), 39-16, in a non-league contest.
