The Nowata Ironmen basketball team (Nowata, OK), was nudged 27-20 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK)

The Bulldoggers now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caney Valley for a Northeast Valley battle on Friday, February 2. Dewey will battle a Trojans team coming off a 41-29 league win over Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 10-7.

The Ironmen (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK). The Cougars come into the Northeast Valley battle with a 0-15 record. In their last battle, Oklahoma Union was nudged by Caney Valley (Ramona, OK), 41-29, in a league battle.
