The DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) basketball felled the visiting Holt Rams (Holt, MI), 52-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI). The Comets go into the Capital Area - Blue test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Grand Ledge was beaten by East Lansing (East Lansing, MI), 64-50, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Waverly for a Capital Area - Blue test on Thursday, February 1. Holt will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 72-13 non-league win over Everett (Lansing, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 6-7.
