The Mormon Trail Saints basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Diagonal Maroons to 38 in the Saints league victory on Tuesday.

The Saints now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moravia for a Bluegrass contest on Friday, February 2.

The Maroons (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, East Union dropped by Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA), 65-15, in a non-league contest.
