North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), 65-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Union upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Warriors host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA)

Next up, the Eagles play the North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Eagle Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-20 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 39-36 league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA).
