The Locust Grove Wildcats basketball team (Locust Grove, GA), was overwhelmed 68-15 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA)
The Eagles now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Grove for a AAAAA Region 2 battle on Friday, February 2. Eagle's Landing will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 61-30 league win over Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 23-1.
The Wildcats (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons come into the AAAAA Region 2 battle with a 15-5 record. In their last battle, Warner Robins trounced Northside (Warner Robins, GA), 74-31, in a non-league battle.
