McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK), 62-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, McAlester upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Memorial (Tulsa, OK) to play the Chargers in a 5A District 4 bout on Friday, February 2. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 5-12. Memorial lost 72-50 in their recent league bout against Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK)

Next up, the Eagles play the Durant Lions (Durant, OK) in a 5A District 4 bout, on Friday, February 2. Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 60-39 league loss to Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK).
