With the win, Evant upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Elks host Mullin (Mullin, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region III District 18 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Mullin lost 58-29 in their recent league bout against Blanket (Blanket, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Gustine Tigers (Gustine, TX) in a 1A Region III District 18 bout, on Friday, February 2. Sidney will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 45-9 league loss to Zephyr (Zephyr, TX).
