Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Everett Vikings (Lansing, MI), 72-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waverly upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Warriors host Holt (Holt, MI) to play the Rams in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Thursday, February 1. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Holt lost 52-37 in their recent league bout against DeWitt (DeWitt, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Thursday, February 1. Everett will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 66-12 non-league win over Sexton (Lansing, MI).
