Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Arthur Panthers (Lake Arthur, NM), 45-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Floyd upgrades its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Dora (Dora, NM) to play the Coyotes in a A District 4 bout on Friday, February 2. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 11-6. Dora won 58-25 in their recent league bout against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM)

Next up, the Panthers play the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Lake Arthur will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 41-39 league win over Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM).
