Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS), 47-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Forrest County Agricultural upgrades its record to 8-16 on the season. The Aggies travel to Purvis (Purvis, MS) to clash with the Tornadoes in a 4A Region 7 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Purvis lost 50-29 in their recent league bout against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Pass Christian Pirates (Pass Christian, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Sumrall will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record.
