Fox Creek Predators (North Augusta, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC), 28-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Fox Creek upgrades its record to 6-14 on the season. The Predators host Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC) to clash with the Panthers in a AA Region 3 bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-16. Batesburg-Leesville lost 65-23 in their recent league bout against Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Pelion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 46-26 league win over Blackville-Hilda (Blackville, SC).
