Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA), 49-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fresno Christian upgrades its record to 8-17 on the campaign. The Eagles host Liberty (Madera, CA) to play the Hawks in a Northwest Sequoia bout on Friday, February 2. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 9-13. Liberty lost 42-20 in their recent league bout against Fowler (Fowler, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Parlier Panthers (Parlier, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia bout, on Friday, February 2. Minarets will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 11-14 record after their 51-40 league loss to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA).
