The Tarboro Vikings basketball team (Tarboro, NC), was overwhelmed 62-13 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC)

The Red Barons now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bertie for a 1A Four Rivers battle on Friday, February 2. Gates County will confront a Falcons team coming off a 61-48 non-league win over Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 8-8.
