The Gloucester City Lions basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Lindenwold Lions to 33 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gateway Regional for a Colonial contest on Thursday, February 1. Gloucester City will meet a Gators team coming off a 33-24 league loss to Audubon (Audubon, NJ). The Gators record now stands at 9-10.
The Lions (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Collingswood (Collingswood, NJ). The Panthers enter the Colonial contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Collingswood ran past Paulsboro (Paulsboro, NJ), 48-24, in a league contest.
