With the victory, North Murray improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Rockmart (Rockmart, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 7 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Rockmart lost 60-41 in their recent league challenge against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Gordon Central will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 19-4 record after their 64-28 non-league win over Unity Christian (Rome, GA).
