The Richard Pioneers basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Greenhills Gryphons to 8 in the Pioneers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everest Collegiate for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Richard will meet a team coming off a 34-30 league loss to Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The record now stands at 8-3.

The Gryphons (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, University Liggett was routed by Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI), 39-25, in a non-league contest.
