Texas High School Basketball - Howe can't hold off Gunter

The Gunter Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Howe Bulldogs to 40 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 18-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bonham for a 3A Region II District 11 contest on Friday, February 2. Gunter will battle a Warriors team coming off a 71-9 league loss to Bells (Bells, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 10-19.
The Bulldogs (18-12) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX). The Tigers enter the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 11-20 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge was nudged by Leonard (Leonard, TX), 45-31, in a league contest.
