New Jersey High School Basketball - Hackensack knocked off by Ridgewood

The Ridgewood Maroons basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Hackensack Comets to 40 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Maroons now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Highlands for a Freelance contest on Thursday, February 1. Ridgewood will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 14-5.
The Comets (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Paramus (Paramus, NJ). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Paramus was defeated by Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ), 47-22, in a non-league contest.
