The Murray County Indians basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Haralson County Rebels to 40 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fannin County for a AA Region 7 contest on Friday, February 2. Murray County will meet a Rebels team coming off a 60-41 league win over Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 14-6.

The Rebels (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Mt. Zion was defeated by Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA), 68-37, in a league contest.
